Must have finishing experience. This includes using the equipment on the floor: large cutter, folders, padding, guillotine cutter, Duplo cutter, stitch, trim booklet makers, and run folders.

Printer II works under the direction of the Supervisor, or Printer III when necessary, and operates a variety of press equipment. This would include doing make-ready for routine and more complex digital jobs. Printer II operates all finishing equipment required to complete work orders and makes certain equipment is in good working condition. Printer II actively participates in customer service and accepts responsibility-maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. 


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Demonstrates, through behavior, Advent Health’s core values of Integrity, compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship and Teamwork. 


• Works under the direction of the Supervisor, or Printer III if required, and follows daily print schedules, complete print jobs accurately within the timelines established and notifies supervisor immediately of any problems that would impact or cause delays in meeting these schedules.
• Skilled at independently processing electronic files or scanning materials to appropriate press, trouble shoot electronic files, as required, and accurately paginate jobs on digital BW presses.
• Utilizes and operates a variety of printers and finishing equipment to finish all Print On Demand and BW printing/copying jobs per instructions on worksheet with the highest quality and accuracy possible using the most efficient processes to meet established the deadlines. If verbal communication with customers or manager is provided, this should be written on work request.
• Inspects all jobs for accuracy, quality and prepares print jobs for delivery.
• Complete all job tracking logs, POD orders, Print POs and any required reports accurately and on a daily basis.
• Ability to provide quotes for simple BW print jobs and use the pricing grid for established core color jobs.
• Monitor paper inventory and notify supervisor if paper stock or supplies need to be ordered and participate as a contributing team member by providing ideas, backup support and cross training that facilitates improvement of quality and efficiencies.
• Assist supervisor in creating effective workflow, adheres to established procedures and assists department in obtaining Gallup goals.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Ability to effectively multi-task and demonstrates strong time management skills in a fast paced production environment.
• Ability to work effectively with people and to work under stress and deadlines. This would require effective communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to be flexible in scheduling to ensure all work is completed by established deadline and support late job requests
• Detail oriented and focused on accuracy.
• Strong computer skills and basic working knowledge of PC and Microsoft software applications (Or complete training course(s) for these skills within one year of hire)

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
• Working knowledge of Adobe Suite applications such as InDesign, PhotoShop and Acrobat
• Knowledge in the AH Host system to receive and fill orders for hospital forms 


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Digital press experience (Xerox DocuTecs/Rizzos or comparable equipment) for accurate and quality BW production. This would include thorough knowledge of Xerox Free Flow Software, or industry make-ready software equivalent, to accurately prepare and impose files for routine and more complex digital printing jobs.
• Experienced in setting up and operating a variety of finishing equipment such, as but not limited to; Stitch & Trim equipment (Borg), desktop power folder, guillotines, Duplo, shrink wrap machine, hole punch, glue padder, etc.
• 1-2 years experience in a fast paced printing environment

GENERAL SUMMARY: 

The Fulfillment Specialist I performs routine duties of picking and packaging supplies as requested on the pick tickets, including any additional supplies needed by the various hospital departments. Meets the picking requirements, accuracy, packaging, and completeness of the process, according to department SOPs. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Courteous, with ability to communicate effectively and work with people of various backgrounds
  • Must be able to work independently and within a team environment Capable of working in a fast-paced environment, able to budget his/her time and activities as need to accomplish the tasks at hand to meet daily deadlines.
  • Must also be able to follow a tight schedule and instructions

Temporary Position 
Shift: M-F 7:00 am to 330 pm

Pay: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour



GENERAL SUMMARY:

A working traffic coordinator who effectively oversees the daily operations of processing all print requests, per deadline requested for each job. Provide quotes for color jobs to customers and coordinate these jobs with the Print Services supervisor, customers, and vendors/couriers through all of the stages of the production process. Completes all Business Cards requests, obtains approvals, and processes them into production. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility for maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. 


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: 

  • Able to work independently, as well as in a team environment, under deadline pressure; handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work effectively. 
  •  Excellent organizational and time management skills. 
  • Able to remain calm and be flexible to meet ever-changing and last-minute print requests. 
  • Working knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acroba, and Adobe Suitet and familiarity with industry quality standards such as SNAP/GrayCol to ensure print quality. 
  • Able to visually inspect electronic files and printed products for meeting acceptable quality standards and make effective decisions quickly to ensure smooth production processes. 
  • Thorough understanding of printer and finishing equipment capabilities. 
  • Detail and accuracy oriented. 
  •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  •  Excellent interpersonal skills in working closely with press operators, artists, internal customers, outside vendors, and division supervisors/managers. 
  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a fast-paced print production environment 
  •  Direct experience utilizing PC and/or Macintosh operating systems and Microsoft software, including Word, Excel, and Publisher. 


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and utilize the Print Services
  • Job Tracker, for monitoring workflow daily, establishes job priorities, creates daily production schedules to ensure all jobs are processed into production in a timely manner, and logged into the Print Services job tracker daily. This will require constant monitoring of email, incoming calls, and faxes for Print Services. 
  • Coordinate color jobs through the stages of the production process; from receiving job all the way through to delivery. This will require effective interaction and communication with customers, outside finishing and paper vendors, and internal or external courier services. This will also include correcting electronic files to meet printing requirements, imposing files for print, and sending files directly to printers. 
  • Assist in processing all requests for business cards and forms, from creation to obtaining approvals to print and processing them into production. 
  • Provide accurate and timely quotes to customers, utilizing both grid pricing and quote spreadsheets for book and flat sheet pricing. 
  • Maintain accurate records of RX scripts printed by FH Print Services and prepare monthly reports for the state. 
  • Assist in the reconcilement of charges (IDTs) for of all print jobs that come through Print Services, both color, and BW. 
  • Assist with the printing and finishing of print products by operating equipment such as; color printers, shrink wrap, padding, coil binding, laminating machines. This could include cutting and drilling equipment as well.

  • 5-10 years of corporate paralegal experience at a law firm or equivalent 
  • Experience with Personal Injury is Highly desired 
  • Knowledge of Know Your Customer (KYC) bank security procedures is preferred but not required 
  • Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate is highly preferred


Pay rate: $19.00 to $23.00 per hour
